We have arrived in Krabi! We had a very long journey yesterday. We got to Bali airport at 6am and had to get two flights here. We had a 7 hour stop over in Singapore which we thought was going to be really painful but we were wrong. The airport was massive we went and watched a film for free. They literally have everything even play station 4! They had a beautiful Orchid Garden with loads of flowers and a massive pond with pretty fish. We got to our hotel late last night woke up this morning stepped outside on to our balcony and the view is incredible. Opposite us is massive limestone cliffs. We have had a little look around today but Tom isn't very well so we are going to have a couple of relaxing days to make sure he gets better and then visit some other islands. We have been really lucky with the hotel it only has 13 rooms, a lovely pool and they even have a gym for free! We have just gone for breakfast and I had sticky rice and mango which was really nice. The place we ate in had loads of cats and a lady came over and started talking to us and said she had 3 tiny kittens and said she will bring them over to us if we wanted. Clearly we said yes she came over with a little basket with the three little kittens they were so cute! We sat there for ages stroking them they were so soft we wanted to take them all! We took a day trip to Railay and Phrang Nang Bay which was actually a little disappointing we did get to see a cave which was really pretty but Railay beach wasn't as nice as we expected maybe we've just been too spoilt so far. As it's low season not as many boats go so we had to wait for some people to turn up and the weather conditions were getting worse. Even the boat man was saying he wanted to go home. Eventually there were enough people to get on the boat to go home. We had to jump off a wall in to waist deep water in some pretty strong waves to even get on the boat. Even pulling away from the beach it felt like our little boat was going I topple over and the girls behind us put their life jackets on straight away. The boat man was crazy he was tiny and wouldn't stop singing and definitely enjoyed hearing the girls screams as the waves smashed in to us. Waves were even coming in over the top of the boat we were soaked through within minutes and then it started hailing which was flipping painful! We tried to get it on video and hope it shows how rough it was. It was pretty scary but I was surprised I didn't get sea sick or constantly think we were going to die like the girl behind us. We had to walk back from the harbour soaked and then we walked past something that caught my eye. When I realised what it was it made me feel so sick I hit Tom and then we realised it was a dead dog but it was so strange because it was upside down with all legs straight up in the air like it had been frozen. It was covered in flies and neither of us could believe it and we both felt horrible. We have no idea what could of happened to it but we didn't even want to take a photo because it was so horrible. Our time in Krabi was a wet one it constantly rained we didn't get any sun and the town had about five power cuts with the longest one lasting about four hours. It wasn't the most enjoyable place we've visited and since Tom last went it seems it has changed for the worse. Seems like they've tried to develop it a bit too much and majority has now shut down.
