We are now in Phuket! Taken a while to update the blog as wifi hasn't been great! We had a five hour journey down here in a mini bus with a crazy driver who had about ten red bulls with serious blood shot eyes and shouting and swearing about Russians before checking any of us were Russian! We managed to arrive in Patong in one piece! We are staying just off of the main strip thankfully as I doubt we would be able to sleep with all the clubs and bars here! We are paying less than £3.50 a night! Due to this annoying curfew stuff going on in Bangkok things close at 10pm so we have had to try find things to do in the evenings. We are right next to a really nice night food market so we have been again getting lots of yummy weird food. We went to the cinema one evening as Tom really wanted to see X-Men... Had to stand up again for the king this time I did not make eye contact with Tom incase I got the giggles! I purchased my first pair of Aladdin pants! Yes they are massive but they are so comfortable and they are purple so now Tom wants a pair! Today we took a trip to Phuket Town to Tiger Kingdom. Baring in mind we both hate any kind of animal cruelty I think we was a little worried the animals were going to be highly drugged. I wanted to see the smallest and Tom wanted to see the biggest so we booked tickets to see the smallest and biggest which was only £35 each to have a private one on one 10 minute session with each size. I can't explain what it was like it was just incredible. We were constantly surprised at how clean it was, we had to constantly wash our hands and even wear some funny flip flops. They did tap them with a tiny stick but only when they were being mischievous to get there attention. They all looked really healthy and happy. We got a five minute video of two of them bouncing around playing with each other so we know they can't of been drugged. A few of them were sleeping but were alert when we approached and the trainers introduced us but then flopped back to sleep in the shade or rolled over. Pretty sure one farted on Tom! We then hiked to the Trickeye museum which is one of the largest collections on interactive 3D paintings. Some of which took up 3-4 walls! It was a chance for us to get lots of funny photos and have a giggle together. Hard to explain but you will see from the photos. Fell in love with the smoothies again I think I've had about 7 in two days but they are ridiculously cheap so it's allowed yay! We had a busy day but we wanted a night out so we headed out earlier than usual thought we would go bowling and have a few drinks. Got to bowling and the music was pumping and Tom went to order some drinks after we had started... Guess what guys.. NO alcohol! After this news we both sulked and threw the ball down and got gutter balls! After we got over our sulk I then got three strikes in a row and beat Tom! We are off to Singapore tomorrow!
