So... We arrived in Auckland and the lady actually came and picked us up which was really nice. She has a 7 year old son so he came alone as well. They both seemed so nice and we were so excited we found a place so close to the city. We got to the house and it looked okay from the outside. She told the son to show us around. As soon as the front door opened we just didn't even know what to do. It was absolutely horrific we couldn't believe how bad it was. There were missing doors and windows, bath had pee stains, the kitchen wasn't even okay to cook in. It was just a total disaster and we only had this place to stay in! We didn't want to stay so we took a walk to the supermarket to decide what to do. We both walked out and agreed there was no way we were staying there, Tom described it as a "crack den" which it really felt like. We rang the lady in Mount Albert and she said that she will come pick us up in the morning and take our bags so she was an absolute life saver! We obviously had to sleep there one night and it was just horrible we woke up in the morning waited for her to leave and then Min picked us up and we were so grateful! She took us back to hers and we had three interviews each in the city. By the end of it we both now have jobs at a university together. We basically have to teach 2000 teachers and students a new software which should be really fun so we are actually excited. We are staying at Mins until next weeks for free which is just incredible and she's so lovely. She's been driving us round helping us looking at flats. We went to one flat and it was a massive sweaty man and he kept eyeing up tom so that was a no go! We saw one and we completely fell in love with it and it's with a lovely couple and we have decided to go stay there and it's only a train journey from the city. It's been a crazy couple of days but things are finally looking up and we both start work on Tuesday and move in to the flat on Saturday. Today we went to a black sand beach which was lovely and we walked the dogs. We came home an she cooked a lovely roast dinner and then we all played cards together. So things have changed, we are now moving in to a house with a lovely lady we met on Saturday. We get our own walk in wardrobe and an en suite we couldn't resist! She is also very busy and goes away a lot so we will have the whole place to ourselves which is really nice. We started work on Wednesday we attended for one hour and got paid for a whole day! We went in on Thursday for two hours and got paid for a whole day! We didn't go in today but still got paid for it which is crazy! What we have to train out is actually pretty simple so we are happy and confident about it and it lasts until the end of March. We've been exploring the city and places around an we've realised we are really happy that we've come back as we've actually missed the city life. We have moved in to our new home and we just love it so much! It's so comfortable and it's the first time we've paid rent since we've been in New Zealand which is crazy! Today I went into work and did my mock presentation which went really well... Tom hasn't got his until Wednesday so we are still getting paid every day for a full days work but not having to actually work it's madness but we aren't complaining. We have joined the gym which is a 5 minute walk from her house which is perfect. We have started eating healthy and exercising more so we are both feeling a lot better. We are so excited we've just got another house sit from 1st may - 24th may. We just went to see her and her house is so beautiful. She has a dog and cat. We met the dog, Oscar and we both fell in love! The lady we are living with now has gone to Canada and she has left us her car which is amazing! We decided to randomly go to The Coromandels which everyone over here talks about. We got there and it was a 40 minute hike to the beach but when we saw the beach it was so worth it. It was so so so pretty one of the best places we've been and it had a massive cave you could walk under to another beach. So we are both pretty settled now. I wasn't liking the job at Auckland Uni so I was working as a Receptionist at a Recruitment agency and now I am working as a Receptionist at a really funky marketing office. Tom is absolutely loving it as he's getting paid full time and sometimes doesn't even have to go to work and the days he does he goes for like 15 minutes. It's definitely his ideal job. We are both feeling a bit run down now though it could be because we are now working and we haven't for like a year but hopefully we shift it soon. So I noticed a lump under my armpit about 3 weeks ago it got infected and was so painful but I was looking after it and eventually healed but them a few more appeared this week and there are now 7 but one was massive and so painful. We went to the hospital and they said I need it sliced open and drained immediately. Clearly I pooped myself. I had to get in to a gown and have gas and air which was a very odd experience for me. Tom watched it being cut open and squeezed I probably would of fainted so I kept my eyes shut the hole time! It's all bandaged up now and I am on antibiotics four times a day praying it all clears up as it's so painful and disgusting! Never had anything like it before so no idea what's happened :( I think it's about time for an update! We are living normal working life's now apart from I am not so normal and haven't been for about a month now. The lumps are healing and looking better but still causing me pain I cannot wait for them to disappear. Me and Tom had interviews yesterday for a massive bank over here called Westpac we both got the jobs and start on 7th April working together doing data entry so very similar to what I was doing at home so I am very happy! It's going in to autumn now so it's getting a little colder and I don't like it waa. We are going to a bbq tonight with a lady we met at the research professional job so we are looking forward to that. Yay finally we have a four day weekend! We went to Auckland Zoo and it was incredible was so big! We went with the couple we stayed with in Whangarei and their daughter it was such a lovely day. Today I made little easter cakes they are so YUMMY! Update on the lumps.. They are looking and feeling much better.. I still have a weeks worth of antibiotics so hopefully now it's on the mend. We have both started working at Westpac and actually love it! Tom is constantly smiling I cannot believe he is actually enjoying a job. Everyone is so nice and we are getting really good money which is the main thing. I have two more antibiotics to take hopefully no infection will come back. All the lumps have kind of gone flat now but two are still open and I have a lot of scars but hopefully they will recover over time. Some good news my infection has completely cleared up yay. I have some scars but hopefully in time they will fade. It has been a crazy month we have been working so much so haven't had much rest. We are now at our last house sit looking after a lovely dog and cat in an incredible house. We have booked our flights home and will be arriving in England on 25th May Ahhh we are both very excited! We went to Hobbiton at the weekend and it was amazing. Can't believe we actually got to go and see it all and even had a cider in the dragons inn! We found out that they have day and night markets so we have been going to a couple of them they are really cool and are all under car parks so it's a real good atmosphere.

Nan how great thank goodness it has turned out realy well for you both xx
Papa Mole Auckland revisited sounding pretty ok then, except for the little nasty sleep over. Best Tom stops winking at big sweaty men, it only encourages them haha. Uni jobs sound good. Don't kiwi peeps know how to play Candy Crush then? (2 bad jokes already :-)) Hope all is still working out well. xx
