Our journey to Berlin was via the speedy ICE train which clocked at least 240km an hour. Considering how far Hamburg is from Berlin, it only took just less than 2 hours to get there. Arrived at Sydney Airport at 1pm on the 2nd of December only to find that our flight had been cancelled. We tried to see if would could a flight out to London that day but had no success. Instead we were booked onto a flight on the 3rd at 8am so back home I went. They provided no accommodation or any form of compensation.
