After an interesting night sleep waking yourself up trying to breath - we headed off on our boat to explore Lake Titicaca. We hada local guide called Henri who gave us a lot of the history of the Inca's and the lake. After 3 hours we arrived at Taquile Island- were we attempted a one hour walk up to the main square at 4000m. It was pretty tough as most people were feeling the altitude. We had a lovely lunch overlooking the peruvian side of lake titicaca. Then we had another 1 hour boat ride to Amantani island - the ride across was very rough We arrived to stay with a local family in their home. Jacqui wasn't feeling too well witha headache so she stayed in bed all night. Euge and his mammy got dressed up in traditional costume and headed off to the village party.
