Another glorious sunshining day today. Not much happening today but sunning ourselves and lazing around. We have got an early flight in the morning and spend most of the day on the go. Another glorious day In rio. The sun was shining today :) Not sunbathing though we headed off to Corcovodo - the big statue of Christ the Redeemer. Again we took the local bus and then you catch a little train up the mountain - it is quite high up. The views from here are fab - you can see the whole of Rio. The 20th came and brought us nice hot sunshine and no clouds So Jacqui headed up to the roof top terrace with pool and topped up the fading tan whilst Neen did some interneting. Then we both headed up after a snacky lunch to top up the tans. I think everyone is expecting us to be so brown when we get back!!! Currently the tan is not 2 good so we will make sure we hit the sunning in Rio and then north america - although 40 in Nevada might be a bit hote!!!!!!

Well on the 16th we headed off to the airport early for our flight to Rio - not too bad a flight except although we had booked seats we did~t get them and we were not sta next to each other!!! Neen ha d asleep whilst Jacqui got hte pleasure of a crying baby!! Not good when you are tired. We arrived in Rio at 5pm and headed off to our hotel. Ahh today saw us venture out of the hotel!!! Good lord. We went for a lovely stroll along Copacabana Beach. The beach is beautiful it is such as shame that the are is so built up with hotels and flats. We had a bit of a sunbath as the cloud moved pretty quickly but then it got windy so we headed off for lunch.
