Our Year in Australia
We woke up to a very soggy Alice Springs and decided to hit the road to get to Uluru before it was too late to set up camp and enjoy a little bit of sunshine. It was a nice, quiet drive out of Alice and toward the South Australia border. We got gas and paid $2.10/litre before we turned off to Australia's most famous tourist trap. We arrived at the Ayers Rock Resort and set up camp, threw the sheets in the dryer to dry and set out exploring the resort. We are all quite tired and looking forward to a relazing two days before it is off to Coober Pedy for some noodling! We are very excited about riding camels to the rock tomorrow afternoon.
