Today's exciting - it's all about the big boys -Statue of Liberty, Empire State and Chrysler. We head first towards the Empire State building, it's not far from our hostel - but the queues are ridiculous it's at least 90 mins long, we kind of prefer the Chrysler so decide to wait and see which we want to do. We're so excited to check out the city today, we plan to walk around and try to get our bearings. We start with the New York Library which is the most beautiful building, marble pillars and white stoned walls and it just smells so fabulously bookie!! We then move on to check out 5th avenue, it's as glam as you'd imagine with its high-end designer stores and well-dressed brats. Off we go - we're straight to the station and not sorry to leave that hostel behind at all. We board around 8am the first part of our journey pre-customs is business class and it's really spacious but sadly, they sold out of those tickets for the latter part.
