Hey poeple!
We went to Phillip Island, which is a small place about 2 hours from the city. We had a dodgey train and bus combo there that took forever and nearly missed it because they told us the wrong info. But got ther alright and set up our tent in a little campsite!
The owners of the place were lovely and they drove us to the main town to pick up some bikes and get our shopping! We cycled to a pinnicale about 45mins from the campsite with a great beach and lovely views. That night the guy in carge let us use the hot tub for free! and told us to expect wallabbies round our tent in the morning!!
The sleep wasnt great as we only had sleeping bags so were basically on the floor, but woke up and i did see a wallabie! That day we cycled and unbelievable 50km!!!!! to the other end of the island to see 20,000 seals just off the coast and made it home in just about one piece ha. While we were gone our friend at the camp site found us a lift to see the penguin parade. This was cool, we set on the beach and waited for the sun to set and 800 little pengiuns about 30cm tall waddled out the sea and made there way home, very cute little things!! could take any photos tho soz!
Our 3rd day on the island we went to the main town of the island to take our bikes back and have a look around then got the bus and train home again. That night we went out with our housemates but were soo tired had to leave early!
Today i went to the national sports museum, was instresting and saw all sorts from Australias sporting history and just about to go out for a chinese with Jack.
Well i probably wont be on for a will as we are going on a 10 day tour to Alice Springs through the outback which sounds very good!! will let you know how it goes soon tho guys, speak to you all soon!
Love to everyone and Happy Mothers day!!!!! xxxxxxxx
