Real early start as kids don't go school today and wake up half 6.... As we slept in the only big room in the house I thought I better get up and clear up!!
Tom wasn't pleased with his early start!
For breakfast I tried some Papaya, I thought it tasted rather like cheese, although this may be an unfair judgement as I had not long before brushed my teeth!!!
Today we were fortunate enough to see the "Ethiopian great run". This happens once a year and is a major event! Organised by their nations pride Gabriel Solaisse, it's a charity run to try and "end poverty by 2015"!!! 75000 people attended, and I have never in my life seen people in that number before! It was like a human river making it's way up the high street. Such an atmosphere an pride, again something I have never before seen in that number.
We caught the bus there ok, the return journey however was more complicated and we ended up one of our walking missions, although we had a good idea of the direction this time!!
Spoke to a local student for about half hour, nice chap just trying to improve his English, makes a change from people wanting money..
Tom's first dilemma, after waking from an afternoon snooze in hammock, tom told me he has done something bad... Here we go I thought..... He'd broken the toilet whilst everyone was out, and tom not being the most practical person in the world was baffled by how it broke, what broke and how to fix it!?! Haha ohhhhhh Thomas!!
Went out with milo the American, massive change in culture! Brand new looking swanky jazz bar, live band and £1 drinks!!!!!
