Day 16 Mariposa to Tahoe

Long drive today. First 50 mies or so were on a really windy, up and down Highway 49
Stopped in Sonora for a leg stretch. Another famous old western town.
Arrived in South Lake Tahoe about tea time.
Busy Saturday might in a resort.

Day 17 Tahoe
Sunday spent on lakeside beach at bar with group on for the afternoon. Good rest.

Day 18
Spent day browsing around shops .
Vin & Chris decided to go to Heavenly Ski resort on the gondola.
Unfortunately it closed for the season the day before.
Town very quiet as it's the end of the season.
Buffet dinner in the Montbleu Casino

Day 19 went to the beach again but really quiet.
Weather changing ready for winter and you can tell at night, first time we've needed coats since SF.
Last night out before going to San Francisco.

Day 20
Back to SF.
Entered San Francisco over the new Bay Bridge with brilliant views over the bay to the Golden Gate.
Last meal out before home.
