Day 4 San Francisco to Monterey

Checked out of the Andrews hotel after a good stay - better than expected.
Sorry Helen, free drinks for residents only. For anybody else they haven't had that spirit here since 1969.
Overall opinion of SF is excellent. Surprised by the number of homeless.
After a one and a half hour wait to pick up the car we set off down the coast.
San Francisco Ocean Beach is brilliant.
We found a great place to escape to in Half Moon Bay.
Monterey and Cannery Wharf are excellent. Nice places and nice people.
After dinner we sat on the balcony and watched the sun o down.

Day 5 Monterey and Carmel

Looked round Cannery Wharf and visited Monterey Aquarium which is outstanding unbelievable jellyfish.
In the afternoon beautiful Carmel and Pebble Beach Golf Club.
We drove round 24 mile drive, ( should be 17 mile but these things happen)

Day 6 Monterey to San Simeon
Fantastic day, whale watching with humpback and blue whales.
Can't believe we actually saw the blue whales.
And the drive down the coast is just like being in a movie although I think Kath and Rose were glad when it ended.
