Friday was our first full day here and we packed lots in. We bought 48 hour tickets for the open top tour bus and set off.
I'm not going to bore you with too much info (I know, that'll make a change) but the highlights were.

Seals at Fisherman's Wharf
Views
Walking the Golden Gate Bridge
Sausalito, which is a small town just over the bridge.
Free drink at the hotel bar each evening.

The weather is perfect and San Francisco is one of the nicest cities with really friendly people.
Day2
Off exploring again soon with a trip to Alcatraz this evening.

Bus trip in the morning to Golden Gate park, a bit cold to start but warmed up. Apparently typical SF weather.
Rose and Kath had beautiful cheesecake in Macy's ( me and Vin were good boys)
Alcatraz was superb and really told a great story.
All shattered and ready for bed by 9:30 on Saturday night . Still party animals or what?

Day3
Sunday morning lie in (needed) then off again.
Streetcar to fisherman s wharf after seeing the queue for the cable car.
Lunch in Jacks Bar then the cable car ride back.
Fantastic!

We've enjoyed SF but we're all ready to start the road trip.

If the rest of the trip is as good we'll be very happy.
