I've just got back from my weekend at the Gold Coast, which was really fun, hot and drunken.

We went down on Friday morning, takes a few hours, then after meeting her (tashy) boyfriend we went for lunch and a potter about. If anyone from Pizza Hut is reading this...I HAD POTATO WEDGES WITH SWEET CHILLI DIP. OH YES! Haha :)

Got up early on Saturday and went to the beach for a bit, and then for a look round surfers and some shops! Then back to the beach (and there was an old man kissing his girlfriend and he had a big...boner. They were old and it was disgusting). Anyway, the party started at 4 so we went back and started drinking (outside in the garden in the warm sunshine) and getting ready.

The party was at a house that looked over a river, and had loads of cool stuff like a KAREOKE MACHINE (I missed you Bex), and a keg of beer inside this wheely bin thing. Was saweeeeet. So after plenty of drinking there we went into town, to this Irish Bar and the birthday boy put money behind the bar so we got free drinks for a while! There was also a live band playing, who were doing some really cool covers...and a hot lead singer. They did a cover of "are you gonna be my girl", and handed me a tambourine to play which i kept for the entire set. I loved it and now want to become a tambourine player, without the really sore hand afterwards!
