Yo! Just giving a little update on the past few days!

Went out into Noosa with Charlotte & Co for my first Aussie night out...was really good but I drank too much and felt rough in the morning. We started off at a sort of pubby/shed like bar...then to a more like social club place with live music..and rounded the evening off nicely at a nightclub. I think it's going to take a while for me to pick up on the 'Aussie Lingo'...i think i'll start my own dictionary:

Words/Phrases that confused me that evening:
"That chick just gave me a deathstare" translated to "that girl just gave me evils"
"Skull it" - "Down it"

I'm pretty sure there were more but i have forgotten them...drunk.

The past couple of days i haven't been able to do much as everyone here is working...but tried out the cinema last night. Watched 'The Box'. Don't go see it.

Today i have mostly been down the beach. Tampty and Charlotte took me through national park..i guess like the Noosa version of the New Forest. It was so nice overlooking the beach with their clear blue water and REAL surfers and REAL waves! Makes a change to the brown water and crappy English surfers. After a couple of hours sunbathing and being terribely frightened of the miniture tsunami's we called it a day...once we were inside we noticed THE BURN...

My burn consists of patches on my wrist and arms, a 'sperm' mark where my belly bar was, my forehead and forehead alone, around my boobs making a red triangle (fit), AND A VERY RED BUM! Charlotte took a photo of that so that'll probably work it's way onto facebook...yay!

Anyway i'll leave that at that...it's a bit long so if you made it to the end then well done! Lots more to come i'm sure ;) Plus photos!
