Well we have arrived safe and well in christchuch. Gary picked us up from the airport and took us to his house. After taking him to work we started hunting for our mobile home.....day one unsuccesful. The next day we pretty much done the same as the day before but went and did a pub quiz with some of garys friends and came 7th. It was quite fun and I had a beautiful pavalova for pudding mmmmm.
The next day we went and looked at more camper vans then we chose one and took it for a drive then we bought it. I can't wait till we pick it up next week. Eli and my bed is up in the roof! Since Eli and I behaved while we were home hunting mum and dad took us to the International antartic centre. We saw some little blue penguins which were awesome, then the watched a 4d movie and got really wet! Eli and I put on thick coats and went into a room full of ice and snow and there was in igloo, snow mobile and ice slide. It was freezing cold when the " storm" started. We weren't just having fun, it was educational as well. We learnt all about the Antarctic Treaty and which counties have signed it and who has base stations on Antarctica. Before we left we went for a spin on a Hagglund all terrain snow mobile. They were originally built for the Swiss military! We went in a very dirty pond and mums door was leaking, lucky she is quick and picked her handbag up!. Eli and I have spent a bit of out holiday money on scooters which are really cool and we have them in the back of the car. We are on our way to Hammer Springs for the weekend so dad and Gary and some of Garys mates can do a duathalon.
