Sunday 19th July
Yesterday morning we left Ocoee River and headed for Wytheville. We stopped at Hungry Mother hiking trails and did the trail around the river, it was nice to go a little wander. After we finished hiking, Emily took us to a really good ice cream shop. They had so many flavours and loads of toppings. We were all like little kids in there! We drove to camp then where we set everything up then went off and did our own thing for a wee while. Penny and I went swimming, spending half the day going down the 50ft water slide. We got out and helped Emily order pizza for dinner. We got 4 pizzas and 2 puddings but when the delivery arrived we hid the one pudding, chocolate brownies, in Emily's bag so the boys wouldn't get any. After dinner we all chilled in the TV room before going to bed. Had a really nice chilled out day.
