Friday 3rd July The hotel is lovely! Absolutely love it here, best hotel yet. We got up yesterday morning and had a feast of a breakfast. $7 to eat as much as you can - meats, steaks, pastas, cereal, toast, cakes, pancakes... Everything! So after eating steak and donuts for breakfast we chilled by the hotel pool for the rest of the morning. We booked to go to a shooting range in the afternoon, after all you can't go to Vegas and not shoot a gun. So i shot an M4 ...

Thursday 2nd July Yesterday morning I got up early and met up with the new tour group. They are all very nice and think we will all get on great when we get to know each other better. I'm just really missing the others though. Hoping we will see the 4 that are doing the other south trip quite a bit along the way. We went to the worlds largest thermometer and got our first group picture together. We then drove to Vagas. It's lovely here! Really hot, it was 47 deg...

Wednesday 24th June Yesterday we left Elko at 7am for the drive to Lake Tahoe. Everyone was willing to leave early since it meant time at the beach when we got there. We arrived at Lake Tahoe about 2pm so we had a few hours of chilling by the beach and swimming in the water. Tuesday 23rd June Yesterday was a driving day so not too much to say about that. We left Wyoming in the morning and arrived in Elko, Navada at about 7pm. We stopped at a sign for 'Iona 2' so I got my picture taken with it. We went out for dinner when we arrived to a really nice place. $40 for a massive meal - 5 course! Got to bed when we got back from dinner and had a really good sleep. Back on the road again this morning for another long drive.
