Sunday 28th June
Yesterday morning we got the train over to the pier to get on the boat to Alcatraz. The boat only took about 10 mins and we were there. Alcatraz is amazing! I loved it, something that definitely needs to be seen! While I was in Alcatraz my phone totally crashed and I couldn't get it to do anything. Eventually got it back on but it kept freezing and wouldn't work properly so we headed back into the town centre and I went to the apple shop and bought myself an iPhone 6, so cheap here! We went to a few of the big shops before going back to the hostel for a little sleep in the afternoon. We got the train back to the pier to meet the rest of them after getting Ben and Jerrys ice cream. We went on a boat cruise which was horrible, I spent the whole trip standing with my head over the edge of the boat feeling like rubbish. It was the worst boat I've ever been on. But it was a really good day up until then!
