Laidley, Queensland
The hitchhike down brings us to the old German incestual town of Laidley, where the sun is hot and the thunderstorms ferocious. Home is a caravan, furnished with the bare necessities, but we soon had it looking like India had thrown up on it. Morning in Laidley brought the Rainbow Lorikeets singing and chirping while dusk meant the bats gregariously moved through the clouds of the setting sun.
