Today we woke up in our tent freeeezing!!! I had to get up in the night to put my hoodie on... Not a good night's sleep at all! Not helped by all my coughing. Today was the day of days... The Taj Mahal. We were to get up very early to ensure we missed the queues and saw the Taj in all it's splender at sunrise. We met the group in the reception at five forty-five and we were all shattered lol... However all the girls had made a huge effort and we were all dressed up in our Punjabi suits and saris. Today we headed for Agra... Today was mostly driving and stopping at te occasional sight or temple. On route we stopped at Abhaneri, which is a large step well. It's amazing and huge... The small amount of remaining water was over twelve foot and it comes up even higher after a good monsoon season. The well consists of numerous steps that head down to the water below.
