We are now in Amsterdam ...
We arrived yesterday evening and walked through the streets to our houseboat - which is just fantastic! It's like a home from home and especially after the tree house was a sight for sore eyes! Crisp white sheets, clean towels, running water, electricity ... Heaven!
We desperately needed showers, food and a good night's sleep and that's exactly what we had!
I'm sure you can tell that we definitely recommend The Waterloo houseboat (you can see photos on www.stay-on-a-houseboat.com).
And we love Amsterdam! We've spent the day exploring and been to the rijksmuseum and Anne frank's house and the kids have once again been brilliant - we've walked nearly all day and no complaining!
