Hello,
Sorry about the wee entry yesterday, it's just that time was running short!
The picture we've got representing our blog today is actualy from the blue mountains, it shows the railway which takes you back up the valley! But only from a part of it- the mountain range is huge!!! We do have lots of photos to show you all but we havn't been able to get on a computer which has the ability to up load them!
Ok, so after Monday's jet boating we had a good night in with all the oZ intro 'crew' drinking, what we call it, "fish wine" haha, apparently there is fish in the ingredients! Nice!!!!! Goon seems to be the other exciting aussie drink!
Tuesday was great coz we got to check out the aquarium and set up our bank accounts, the Sydney bank is no joke like gringotts- we got to go down stairs, check out the vault and grill the guard on how secure it was- he was bit shocked when started asking about wether they used composites or not =p!! Rose however missed out on this excitement as she was busy asking the bank every question possible about the amount to withdraw money and things (so proud of her, keeps me from having to worry)
Bondi beach was the next day, we did a gorgeous 2 hour walk around the coast, some realy nice scenery, then we got to the beach where the barby was waiting=)!! We played volleyball- brilliant but fatal... The sun burn (even after our 4 layers of strong oz suncream) was rather impressive for all of us.. rose hannah, rose and I (rose and hannah are our 2 new realy cool friends) were all on a team with a couple of others ( Inc Simon) but we lost which meant a cold bucket of water for the captain- poor simon!!!
SURFInG !!!! It was brilliant... We were on like a private beach which was wicked! And we needed a 4by4 to get to the beach! Rose was ruling those waves... I nailed it a couple o times which wasn't so pleasent... But we both stayed true to our amazing Scottishness and were surfing till the end..!!!
Today blue mountains were fantastic! We saw kangaroos!!!!!!!!!!! So so so happy =>! And some Cool birds and creepy spider holes! The walk was knackering though, so many steps that, rose says, "there bigger than my leg!" hehe! But we think the waterfall was worth it!
Times are going great here and hopefully soon good pictures and funny blogs will be up,

Alex It sounds like your having an amazing week and you probably couldnt have asked for a better way to be introduced to sydney. I'm really excited about seeing you and showing you around my neck of the woods! And a word of warning... Stay away from the goon! - i know just how addictive it can be and it will get you in trouble!! haha xx
Ingasmumanddad Good call, Alex, that goonie stuff sounds pretty sinister. Take advice from one who knows, girls. We had nearly 100 tonnes chips delivered today... and we thought 15 on Uist was hard work (but the secret is that we hired a diggerthis time!). Ingasmum LIKE a private beach? UhUh. Will there be any surfing pics of you both, was it easier than at Polzeath beach? Just as well you had prepared a few waves earlier! Keep up the Scottishness. Do you have JOBS yet? Love from the Spoilsport!
