Today the weather improved slightly, so we decided to take the Corfe Castle steam railway to Swanage. We had a fun 25 minute steam train ride which passed the Corfe Castle. At Swanage we played on the beach and ate a picnic lunch on the sand. We then headed back on the steam train for the ride home. Yesterday and today have been very wet and a bit cold in Dorset. Yesterday we decided to find an indoor activity, so we set off for the Tank Museum. It had a huge collection of Tanks from the first world war, all the way to tanks which are currently in use in Afganistan. Today we drove from Tavistock to Osmington via Lyme Regis. The beach at Lyme Regis is pebbles instead of sand on one side, and there is a very tall breakwater called the Cobb. We walked out along the Cobb and played on the pebble beach. It was very busy with people visiting the beach, although it was too cold and windy for us! We arrived in Tavistock on Friday for Luke and Hez wedding. All of Luke and Hez's family and the wedding party ate dinner together at a restaurant in Tavistock on Friday night. On Saturday we went to the Church for the wedding and then on to the reception. It was a lovely ceremony and everyone had a great time.

Yesterday we arrived back in Wales and drove to the Brecon-Beacons National Park. We stopped in Llandovery (Welsh is a funny language,there are lots of places that start with Ll which is pronounced "fl"!). Llandovery is a beautiful village with a ruined castle and a great playground! Then we came to Brecon which is also a very pretty town, where we stayed in a B&B in a very old building.
