Matthew, Oliver and I have had a great couple of days exploring Chamonix while Geoff has been getting ready for and participating in the "Etape de tour" from Albertville. Yesterday we wandered through the Saturday morning market and bought some fresh strawberries and raspberries. We arrived at Chamonix this afternoon and checked into our self contained apartment. We took a stroll through Chamonix and did our shopping then came back to the apartment before the rain started. We really aren't having much luck with the weather as rain seems to follow us wherever we go!

We flew from Bristol to Geneva this morning and then took a transfer to Chamonix this this afternoon.

We have arrived at our B&B near Bristol Airport and tomorrow we will be on our way to Chamonix via Geneva for the next part of our adventure.

Today was our last day in Dorset with our extended family. We went up to a lookout at Ringstead Harbour, which gave wonderful views out over towards Portland. We spent the rest of the day at Lulworth Cove, which is a natural horseshoe shaped Harbour formed over 10,000 years ago.
