On the second day at Disneyland, we discovered our favorite rides at Disneyland, the Buzz Lightyear Laser ride and the Big Thunder Mountain. We also saw the dragon's Lair, went into Aladdin's Cave and played in the Wild West playground.
Went across to Disney Studios for the Motor Action Stunt Show Spectacular which had a special guest appearance by Lightning McQueen. Luckily we got there early to join the queue as the stadium filled up pretty quickly. The stunt drivers were amazing with some of the sequences looking like a ballet of spinning cars. After each sequence the director and stunt drivers would explain some of the tricks in more detail. In the middle of the show Lightning McQueen made an appearance hunting a spy car!
After the show we decided to go back to the hotel for a break for a couple of hours.
Matthew and I decided to head back to Disney Studio Park to go on the Tower of Terror ride and then meet Geoff and Oliver for dinner. The Tower ride was fantastic, it was a crazy out of control lift that zipped up and down and then would unexpected drop several flights. Matthew said it was cool, but didn't want to have another turn. Matthew and I were running late for our dinner reservation so we went straight to the restaurant, but somehow we didn't manage to find Geoff and Oliver. (Geoff was waiting outside the restaurant with Oliver asleep in the stroller but we missed each other). Matthew and I had our dinner and then headed back into the park for another turn on the Autopia ride and then It's a Small World. We then walked back to our hotel through the Disney Village, to find Oliver and Geoff asleep.
