At Disneyland Paris! We spent 3 amazing days at Disneyland and The Disney Studio parks near Paris. We arrived on Oliver's birthday and after checking in at the Hotel Cheyenne, a Disney hotel which looks like a wild west town, we headed straight into Disneyland.
We started with a Autopia, a ride where Matthew and Oliver got to drive their cars around a track. Then we took to the skies in the Orbitron rockets. We used the Disneyland fast pass system to get a ticket on the star wars themed Star tours ride. Unfortunately Geoff told Matthew and Oliver that we were really flying to Endor, so Oliver got quite upset when we found ourselves caught inside a comet cluster, and then caught in the tractor beam of a star destroyer which we managed to get out of when a rebel X-wing fighter provided assistance by destroying the tractor beam's generator allowing us to accompany the Rebellion on a massive assault on the Death Star. Even after we explained at length that it was just a simulator and it was all pretend, Matthew and Ollie refused to go back on this ride!
We went to get a fast pass for Peter Pan and played in the pirate cove, on the pirate ship, in the caves and a great playground. We ate dinner at a middle eastern themed restaurant, including a birthday cake for Oliver's 4th birthday, then went on the Peter Pan ride and Pirates of the Caribbean. Matthew wanted to go around again, we split up and went back on for another go while Geoff and Oliver went on Its a small world. Matthew and I went on the spinning tea cups where Geoff and Oliver joined us for another go, and then we wandered over to Frontierland and went into the Haunted house. Then Oliver decided to head home to bed, and Matthew wanted to stay for the night parade.
