We had to return to the Caribbean coast to meet Linda and James..it´s a hard life. Playa is a crazy place, the opposite of Tulum but fun i guess if you want to party hard and spend a lot of money. who cares when the sea´s blue and the cocktails are plentiful anyway?

We found a hidey hole with a kitchen, had a few bonza barbies mate, became amazed at Wal Mart, snorkeled more and more, ate more and more, returned to Tulum for old times sake and visited Chichen Itza. Fabulous site but overrun with American tourists.

The time had come to leave Mexico.
