We arrived in Tasmania to fine sunny weather and for the first two days we were wearing shorts and t shirt. Beautiful weather, beautiful scenery, beautiful little towns and magnificent farmland on rolling hills. What a wonderful place Tasmania is.

We parked the van at a free park put on by the Lions Club at Penguin - right on the beach with grass and gardens all around and lovely clean toilets too! Then we travelled the coast to canyon trip from Penguin through to Pioneer Park, Gunns Plains, Preston and then on to Leven Canyon. A lovely drive. We had a couple of uphill walks to get to the wonderful views, but it was worth it.

Then we travelled up through Nietta, Upper Castra, Sprent, Gawler and Ulverstone and took the coastal road back to Penguin. It was a great day.
