Day 6 - Geneva
It was early morning again. As much as I hoped to sleep in, I couldn't somehow; partly because the sun rises very early everyday. It didn't even feel like 645am but the sky was bright and ready for us to begin our day.
I had breakfast at the hotel. After that, I came back to the room to pat my boy to sleep. He was easy and all it took was singing the same song on repeat mode. When he woke up, I prepared milk and fed him. Then, I brought him out for (my) lunch.
I thanked God that the weather was good for the first half of the day. Prediction has it that it would rain throughout the day; not in my case. I had ham and cheese croissant and a cup of iced mocha at Starbucks. Then, we were just walking around the hotel's vicinity before it began to drizzle a little. By then, Benji had already fallen asleep. In order not to disrupt his sleep, I walked back to the hotel and rested at its sofa, while waiting for Benji to wake up. He did eventually after a good 45 minutes.
Back in the room, it was round two of milk preparation, feeding him and periodically entertaining the little boy while trying to also steal time to do my own stuff. Thankfully, he was pretty co-operative and after his feed, he slept soon after. And it was a long nap that he took; close to at least two hours.
Just before Emma came back, Benji woke up. We then went for a dinner cruise, organised by Emma's company, that sailed around Lake Geneva. I was the only one out of place for I'm not part of the company. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant experience for me of enjoying delectable food and admiring the scenic lakeside views, accompanied by the sound of soothing waves.
The dinner cruise ended at about 10pm. We headed back to the hotel and having settled Benji, we slept at about 11pm plus.
