The journey back to Phnom Penh went smoothly apart from driving past the airport to then fight the traffic going back by Tuk-Tuk. We got chatting to 2 Swedish guys and were able to help them out with places to go and where to stay in Siem Reap.
Travelling back into Thailand also went smoothly -nice short flight. We got quoted double the price of a taxi from the airport so we jumped in a long queue to get it cheaper, even then he tried to swindle us into paying more! cheeky! We returned to the Nasa Vegas hotel, this time to a room half the price we paid previously! However, we find out we don't have the same privileges of tea and coffee facilities or hot water apparently!
Last night we ventured into the night market, picked up some tasty veggie bites and some stinky mango rice for the last time and browsed. This was quite dangerous as I came back with a bag full of stuff. To be fair all needed supplies that would have been a lot more expensive once in Aus.
Today we made a welcomed return to Mr Jones Orphanage cafe for chocolate cake and dropped by a mall we hadn't been to before, finding this one had a H&M and a cinema which we were very happy!
We treated ourselves to a cinema trip this evening! Loved it, it was also so much cheaper than the experience at home!! We watched the 2nd huger games film, all the films were English just with Thai subtitles. The only big difference was having to all stand at the start in tribute and respect to the king. We did manage to cause a bit of a ruckus a little way into the film by sitting in the wrong seats (i5 not 15!).
Big news today... I retrieved my parcel I thought was long lost, containing all my memorabilia from Africa, I was so happy!!! Just they won't refund me the 50 quid I paid in the first place to get it home which is very annoying!
We jet off tomorrow, destination- Fiji! :) 13 hours ahead of home! Planning a skydive and possibly a scuba shark dive if I have the nerves! It will cost a small fortune all together but I'm sure it'll be worth it.
