Ok, off to the next exciting city.....Rome. Stuck in traffic of course on way to the airport, at least we are not driving. Odd, but we seem to be the most 'Techno' oldies on all if our tours so far....almost everyone have smart phones but nobody seems to use them as they are supposed to be used.... Up a little later this am...... Not used to all this social life and late nights....both feeling a little 'hungover' this am. Going to skip the boring hotel breaky today and off to find a sidewalk cafe for brunch........then off to The Louvre this pm. Might I say it may be an advantage in this country to be on the Gluten Free diet.......they certainly don't cater for it, and I would devour so many pastries, cakes and bread here......wow the creme caramels and mac...

Well, big day coming up...... First stop......Eiffel Tower.....wow we are actually here! Fortunately we do not have to queue with THEM as our tour guide refers to those standing in long queues. Straight in and up the lift........great view......such an impressive structure, although Parisians did not exactly embrace it when it was built.......I must admit it does stand out admist the beautiful architecture. Loved London......so vibrant and fast, perfect for the younger generations......would have loved to have lived there in the 70's! Would get trampled in the rush now though! Up bright and early to catch the Eurostar to Paris.......London has turned on a sunny morning for our departure. 2 hours underwater.......should be interesting.
