Up early for our flight home.....transfer arranged, hassel free. Dust cleared somewhat for our departure. Great to have seen Dubai, love the cleanliness and extreme low crime rate, a credit to Skeikh 'whats his name'. Airport is as clean as the Metro.....someone there to clean the toilet once it has been used, and it's free!
Have to get on…
Thanks to a gentle 'shove' (in the form of Air Fares and some generous spending money!) from our wonderful children and their equally wonderful partners, we are off on 'Our Trip of a Lifetime' - To Europe and Beyond!
Never having graced any of these exciting shores before, we cannot wait!
With everything planned to the enth degree........and hoping we can keep up the pace we have set ourselves, hope you will join us on our journey.........
Woke up to deathly quiet, no traffic, no sirens, so peaceful, strange for a city.....
Roger woken up with a dizzy spell this morning....waiting for stemitil to crank in. Fingers crossed it is …

Scott The butcher you described is incredible, very different when you ask for something not in the display and he says "yes, I'll just go out the back and get it"

You guys are cramming so much into London, it's great to see that. It's also great news about your reflux that must be such a relief. I'm a big fan of the tower of London to so much history there. Can't be easy drying laundry in 9 deg either! Keep having fun and I'll talk to you later
