Ok, off to the next exciting city.....Rome.
Stuck in traffic of course on way to the airport, at least we are not driving.
Odd, but we seem to be the most 'Techno' oldies on all if our tours so far....almost everyone have smart phones but nobody seems to use them as they are supposed to be used....

Atalia flight ok, think Trafalgar must have got the cheap seats......right at the back of the aircraft.
I am still licking my lips getting all I can of the 2 macroons I bought to eat on the flight......so yummy!!!!
Saw something cute at Paris airport, a lady had her puppy in a basket, they weighed it with her hand luggage, apparently some airlines let you take animals on the flight in the cabin with you......turned out we had a dog on our flight too.....didn't hear a bark from him, didn't see him at the toilet either!!
Beautiful day here in Rome, 24C and sunny.
Checked into the Grand Hotel Tiberio....nice place, it has a bidet so I've asked Roger to try it out first.....
Went for a walk to the local 'supermarket' (corner store)...... I think Australia is the only place in the world that doesn't sell beer and wine in the supermarkets.
Off to a traditional Italian wood fired Pizza place (so they tell us), for dinner and apparently they have arranged for a gluten free pizza for me. Might be because I complained in the feedback form this am, that Trafalgar hadn't catered up till now despite being reguested before we left.....
Zespers, zespers everywhere!! Squillians of small cars darting everywhere......petrol €1.86/litre.
Yummy dinner, great GF pizza and bruschetta......they even gave me a doggy bag to take with me......very sweet! Such a sweet Italian Mamma!!
Went on a night tour of Rome.....such history, unbelievable. The lights were on in the Pope's room.....working late!!

At the DeGaule airport, quite a wait....looking forward to being somewhere where we can leave our bags in one place for a while!

Yeah that's right.....the fat lady held up the plane for 15 mins and now not only did they bring her right down the back and sat her next to me, they now tell me I have to donate my lunch to jeep her fed!

I refused to give my lunch to the *** lady....you meet some weirdos on these trips....the first one was OK but this time some are painful.
