Well, after a fairly lengthy wait at the airport, it was onwards to the big land down under! Transfers all went swimmingly well, until I thought I was going to have to wait another couple of hours for a free bus (I didn't in the end) but that was about the height of excitement of said journey. Saying that, I'm pretty happy to have uneventful plane journeys.

So I'm all camped down in my hostel, which isn't actually in Melbourne centre, but about 5km outside. Managed to successfully negotiate the tram this morning - which pleased me greatly, a fine method of public transport. Had a haircut by a scissor crazed Korean (seriously, why is it so hard to only cut a small amount of hair from my head?) and booked a trip along the Great Ocean Road (no idea - but in a few days I'll tell you!)

All in all, a successful start to my Aussie adventure. Oh and the best bit? I'm going to be part of the studio audience for 'Who wants to be a Millionaire?' tomorrow! My plan is to befriend the winner and absorb some riches.

As you can see, not loads to report on as yet... But there will be. Mark my words... xx
