Hi Everyone! Hope you are all good. Just a quick postcard to let you know what we are up to..... For the last week we have been doing some diving and snorkling on the Barrier Reef. We were living on a boat for a bit of this called Sea Quest. It was very good fun. I did quite a few dives and Helen did some snorkling. We were also hanging out with a nice bunch of people from across Europe which was good fun. After we came back from the boat we went to Cape Tribulation on a day trip. We went on a cruise on the Daintree river (didnt spot any Crocs, though, which was a shame) and on a walk around the rainforest. We also went to Cape Tribulation beach. There was a huge thunderstorm near by which was quite exciting. Then we went for lunch at a water hole (and for a swim) and to Mossman Gorge. It was a very good day. The next day we picked up our car and headed south. We were going to check out the table lands but there is a cyclone approaching north Queensland and the weather is rubbish, so we decided to go south ASAP! It much nicer weather down here - hot and sunny, no rain, so it was a good move we think. We spent the night in Townsville, after checking out Big Crystal Billabong on the way down, which was good. We were staying in our new tent which we bought for the east coast! Cool! Then this morning we drove to Arlie Beach ready for our trip around the Whitsunday Islands on a converted racing yacht! We are really looking forward to this - it sounds and looks amazing!
