Have finally made it to Bangkok.On Saturday we met Thai girl Wi (Heidis Dads Friends Girlfriend)...hope you got that.She took us to the weekend market which is massive..had over 15,000 stalls..Yes we bought some stuff as it was quite cheap.The market had everything you could imagine to buy...puppies,squirrels,hamsters,clothes,crafts,etc..We the went to the popular backpacker street Koh san road whcih was really buzzing with bars,restaurans,and yes more markets and shops! so we sat with a few drinks and watched bangkok pass us by..(which is very funny and interesting to see).

On sunday we both decided to go and get our hair done...as in get dreadlocks.The long and sore process tokk about 5hours to complete.Heidis is really lovely and suits her...Lisas you will just have to see for yourself ;-) lisas is lovely too really.So that took most of our day up..and back again to Koh san road for a well deserved drink to numb the pain (and for me the shock) :-)

Today we went to see The Grand Palace whcih was really beauitful,and then we went to see the big reclining Budda in Wat Pho.Both very nice.Then got a tuk tuk back into town for more shopping...oh we also had to buy a new suitcase to carry all we got.(not good as we got a year to pull it around after us! )Or alternatively send it to Mr. and Mrs Talbot.

Tomorrow we are going on a day tour to Kanchanburi to see the Death railway that was built during World War 2,tiger Temple and bridge over the river Kwai .
