Hello!

Happy birthday King of Thailand!

We've been in Chiang Mai for two days, the first day, after travelling on an overnight bus for 10 hours, we didn't do a lot. In the evening we found a nice bar where we had some food and drinks by the river.
Today we mostly spent looking around the night bazaar market, which was so pretty with all the lanterns and decorations hung up for the Kings birthday! We're going trekking in the jungle for three days tomorrow... we get to ride elephants and go white water and bamboo rafting.Should be interesting! These include a lot of long walks in the jungle to see villages and tribes also!

Short update for today as not much time on the internet, its a pay-service so this will be short and sweet! ;-)

We've also got the rest of our time in Thailand sorted...we leave Chiang Mai on the 13th Decembet to go back to Bangkok then into Cambodia, to Siem Reap, and Phnom Penh!

We'll then staying there for a week, going back into Bangkok for one night, and then making our way down to the Islands in the south...a week in Koh Samui and a week in Koh Phangnan! We'll be staying in beach bungalows just for us, all to ourselves, which are right on the beach! (state the obvious!) so excited!
