Yesterday Kerry and I caught a ferry from Koh Pha Ngan to Koh Tao, it took about 2 hours. Koh Tao is pegged as some of the best scuba diving in asia, so i thought i must have a go. Howdy all! Heath and I are back to being beach bums - Koh Pha Ngan is unbelievably beautiful. We got here late on Sunday after a minibus - bus - ferry ride from Khao Sok and found a buungalow set high on the hill overlooking the ocean in Had Yao, on the North Western part of the island. We are now in a national park called Khao Sok. It is fairly well known, and most of the travel books recommend it as a great place to see animals in the wild. We had half a day's travelling from Ton Sai to get here and are staying in a little tree hut. We are paying $8 a night for the accomodation which is owned and run by a british bloke who happens to be an excellent cook. We are still at the little hippy community of Ton Sai. We are enjoying it immensely and everything is so cheap.
