Today I went gliding with the Yorkshire Gliding Club. They are about 1 hour drive south of Durham. Kerry and I had stopped in at this gliding club several weeks ago and thought it looked really good, so today i went back to investigate further. On the weekend, Kerry and I went to Newcastle. My family bought Kerry and I tickets to see an Australian singer, Josh Pyke who is on a UK tour. We had already seen Josh in Adelaide, but it was a real treat to see him over here. After the concert we got a skin full of booze at a pub which Kerry's friend works at, who had promised us a night of free drinks if we came to the bar she works at. Tis Monday night and I am sitting writing this with a big smile. Kerry and I spent the weekend (a long weekend) in Scotland. We left Durham on Saturday morning and drove up north avoiding the highways where possible, enjoying the scenery that the quieter roads had to offer. This weekend Heath and I made it down to Oxford to visit Mike, a guy we met at Joeyglide last year.
