Since our last blog Kerry and I caught a bus from Barcelona to Madrid which took most of a day. We spent a day looking around Madrid and in particular looking at an art gallery which Kerry wanted to see. The next day we got on an early morning flight to Berlin. Well, what an awesome time we have had so far. Since our last blog, we caught an overnight train from Cairo (north Egypt) to Aswan (south Egypt). In the early 60's the Egyptians built a huge dam in Aswan so that they could control the flooding of the Nile and also power Egypt (and a few other countries) with Hydroelectricity. We are writing this from an internet cafe in Cairo. Kerry and I arrived in Cairo (from Heathrow) at about 2am yesterday morning. We were thoroughly spoilt in the BA lounge before our flight.
