The Twomey threesome arrived at our cabin, safe and in good spirits. The lakeside location in the woods was idyllic …. The local mozzies made us very welcome and swiftly became blood relatives. With the absence of shops, we lived off the land and a previous supermarket visit. The second day was pretty arduous involving a 5:30 a.m. rising and taking in a two hour climb, finally to stand at the edge the iconic Pulpit's Rock with its 604 metre sheer drop to the Fjord. After paying homage to the Sun God and taking several photos, we started our journey back …passing hundreds of late rising mortals, who arriving in a tourist rush, had missed the magic of the morning. Tomorrow we head for Stockholm and civilisation.
