Australian Open 2009

It was time to earn a bit of money today after more weeks of fun. But then working at the Aus Tennis Open was not exactly going to be hard work! I was working in the staff cafe which initially I was disappointed with but in hindsight was much better as it was more relaxed, every one was a great laugh, and we had a full length view of the Hisense Arena, which is the second best court, so we could watch all the matches! The highlight of the week had to be getting paid $37 an hour on Australia Day and getting to watch the Murray match on the tv screen! Unfortunately he lost :( But it was still a good day! Mum arrived in the second week to watch it live. We had a hairy moment on the Sunday when Roger nearly got put out, but she got to see him all week and was just disappointed when he got beaten :( She did however get to meet Rod Laver which she was very impressed with :)
