Hello everyone,

hope all is well, can't quite believe that in 13 days or so it's Christmas, i honestly don't feel festive at all. Bit weird being in a warm climate. Well i say warm, the weather here is reminding me of the Lake District, damp, fine rain and the mist you see over the hills. so feel right at home. Been out on a couple of mtb tours, it's been fun. I was hoping to have my first ever go on a DH bike yesterday but unfortuatly one of the ladies who was riding fell off and sprained her ankle, so i didnt get to have a run. Damm it! oh well, some other time. I've decided to stay in Wanaka for another month, then will hopefully buy a car so that i can go off and do a bit of travelling. Can't wait! I have found a room to rent until the 15th jan, really cheap and close to town. I'll be sharing with two other girls. Currently trying to find a part time job, but not trying so hard, as im enjoying having this free time. he he.

might be off doing another guided tour today, which will be pleasant in the rain! Be good to get out though.
