Hello All, another quick update. Am leaving Wanaka on Wednesday morning to begin my roadtrip, going to head up towards Fox glaciers first and then across to the east cost to hopefully do some surfing etc. Then will try and get a ferry across to the north island around the 29th Feb because there is a bmx jam on in Auckland and someof the guys from England will be there. hey all, just finished work, so thought i'd spend the afternoon internet-ing and then sleeping when i get home. Did a 7hr mtb ride on Saturday, think we covered around 90km's, was a brillant ride and we had to wade through rivers, very exciting. Was hard going though due to the heat, even at 7:30pm when we finished the ride it was still hot, i did go for a swim in the lake staright afterwards, which was amazing. Hey all, sorry for the lack of updates, been busy working, falling off bikes and sitting out in the sun. hard life i know. So last week i did a DH race and managed to get 3rd in the senior wms category, which was awesome really enjoyed it. I also managed to crash near the end and damage my ribs, so have been in pain for just over a week. Not been able to work, swim or cycle so have been going round the bend. Happy New Year everyone, Can't believe it's 2008, and that i celebrated the new year 13hrs before you guys did. very weird. i went to see some bands play in a place called Hawea, which is about 30 mins away from wanaka. the music was very chilled so it was a nice atmosphere. hopefully in the next week or so i'll have a car and will be going off to travel thesouth island. currently in lazy mode at the moe, so not doing a lot. may be going to a rodeo today but we...
