The Gili Islands are made up of 3 islands the first is Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan. We arrived on Gili Air at around 11am, we managed to track down a bungalow for a cheap price which was unheard of in the peak times. We dumped our bags and headed to the bar. Finally managing to escape Bali was a relief to both Edward and myself. We decided to take a speed boat across to Lombok from Bali..... It seemed like a good idea at the time.
