Early bus to Cienfuegos. met by a man who took us to a Casa Particulare recommended by the last place we stayed. Bartered the price down in return for agreeing to eat at the Casa. Walked around the town and along the promenade with views of the bay. Not much happening and town not as pretty as the Lonely Planet made out. Got soaked by the afternoon rain storm. Highlights of day around town were peso hamburger and ice-cream at coppelias, the ben and jerrys of cuba. Spent evening on rooftop terrace at our Casa catching up on washing, reading and blogging. Ate a nice but not brilliant meal at our Casa - and to our dismay, no dessert!
