After booking up hostels for the remainder of our trip (Rio is a popular place!), headed out for our last stint on the Barra de Lagoa beach. Got distracted by a fish restaurant on the way however and enjoyed a lovely lunch. Made it to the beach for a bit before preparing to leave - very glad we were doing so given the cockroaches that seemed to have taken up residence in the hostel. Arrived bleary eyed at Porto Allegre bus station at 7 in the morning. Brazil was not being accommodating in allowing us to extract cash from a multitude of cash machines.
