Our overnight bus pulled in to Puerto Madryn at around 8am and we were soon whisked off on a tour bus to Peninsula Valdes in search of Southern Right Whales and other sea dwelling animals. The whales were out to play with 4 or 5 mothers with calves surrounding our boat at one point, and one attempting some somersaults. Also saw penguins, seals and elephant seals on the beach, and various other land animals including a weird cross rabbit/kangaroo thing, some silver foxes, and a deer like member of the camel family (we're not so hot on names!).
