Didn't get a job and ended up moving into Kirsty's guesthouse when Becky got a flat. Was in a horrific room with three awful girls though. They were German and refused to speak any English, either ignoring or giving one word answers to all my questions or attempts at conversation. There was internet access but not wireless so obviously only one person could get on at a time and when I asked the girl who was using it at the time about it she just said oh I need it to talk to my boyfriend and I said well when can I get on? To which she replied when I'm finished. I left it at that for then and when they went out the next day got on to carry on the job and flat hunt. However after less than an hour they were back and she had the cheek to get another internet cable and connect her laptop when I was clearly using it without even saying anything!!! I was so in shock I didn't say anything and went downstairs to Kirsty's room to see if I could use their computer for a bit. The place was a bit annoying though cos the kitchen and communal rooftop area shut at 9pm, meaning you had to sit in yours or someone else's room or go out after that. Luckily got moved down to the room next door to Kirsty's after a few nights because a friend of the German girls kept hassling me to swap rooms with her so she could be with her friends, which was fine, but she was knocking on the door multiple times a day to then change which day she wanted to swap. So just went to a completely different room. Two nice German girls and someone English too.
The dust storms which were all over the news happened, we all slept through it, but there were good pictures of everything just glowing red and the next day there was red dust all over the cars and roads, bit strange.
